About Drama Call
Drama Call is a Manchester-based streetwear brand founded in 2017 by Charlie Bows. The brand's name is derived from Charlie's innate interest in Hollywood flicks combined with his history of working in call centres.
Two factors that define Drama Call are their high quality tracksuits (the heaviest in the game, according to them, weighing around 1kg per "trackeh"), and their unwavering dedication to representing Manchester (or "Manneh," if you like).
The brands relevance within pop-culture has been highlighted in collaborations with Chart-topping Mancunian rappers, Aitch and Tunde. Drama has also collaborated with Manchester United and Adidas.
Drama Call has proven time and time again that they have the ability to call hundreds of supporters to the streets of Manchester at a moments notice, relying on just their instagram account and word of mouth.
The power of the brand has been used as a force for good on multiple occasions. For instance, in 2020 they supported the BLM protests by selling "Silence Kills" t-shirts, and donating the profits to protester bail funds and Black owned business destroyed by looting. They raised just over £26k within three months. Drama Call subsequently went on to raise money for humanitarian aid for Yemen, and then Palestine.
