About Hoodrich

Man wearing a Hoodrich balaclava and hoodie, with Hoodrich baseball bat slung over right shoulderJay Williams launched Hoodrich in 2014 with £200 and a vision of building up a streetwear brand inspired by American Hip Hop culture. Like many other streetwear brands, Hoodrich started out with screen printed tees being sold within Jay's local community to family, friends, and curious onlookers. By 2018, the brand had caught the attention of Footasylum, leading to a distribution deal that put Hoodrich in 14 stores. Things went so well that by the following year Jay was able to strike up a deal with JD Sports, placing Hoodrich in stores across the country. This catapulted the streetwear line from a local Birmingham-based brand to a nationally recognised fashion label.

Hoodrich's edgy, street-inspired aesthetic has been widely embraced by youth across Britain, and has become synonymous with the UK Drill genre. Fumez the Engineer was befittingly selected to be the brands first ambassador, and his popular Youtube series, 'Plugged In,' is officially sponsored by Hoodrich.
