About Trapstar

Trapstar London was launched by Mikey, Lee and Will; three friends from West London. To showcase individuality, they began creating personalised T-shirts, sparking interest in their local area. Threats of bootlegging prompted them to consider selling their unique designs. Following a pivotal conversation with Lee's stepfather, who called them "hood celebrities trapped in the system," Mikey responded with the phrase, "There's a star trapped in all of us." This moment gave birth to the brand's name, Trapstar.

Trapstar is one of the most successful brands to have emerged from UK street culture. Over the years, they've collaborated with some of the titans of British urban music, including Blade Brown, Dave and Central Cee. Not to mention, American megastars like Rihanna and Jay Z have been seen sporting Trapstar apparel on numerous occasions. A meeting with Roc Nation in 2011 led to a partnership that is still ongoing till this day.
